Yesterday, I had the honor of convening and hosting my second global webinar as the Chief Operating Officer of the Humanitarian Hub for Community Impact Affinity (CIA) Community Impact Affinity Hub. Themed “Guns vs. Goals: Reconciling Military Spending with Sustainable Development”, this insightful discussion explored the impact of rising global military expenditures on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This webinar was aligned with the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA)’s call for papers and dialogue and this reflects CIA’s commitment to Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16).
