On the 13th April 2024 4pm - 5pm I appeared as a special guest on Radio Maria Abuja Nigeria 91.3FM The Voice of Truth to discuss insecurity in schools. 


Learn With Us is An Educational Program that shares deep insight on the importance of education, discuss various and diverse topics in education as well as issues bordering around learning and we get an expert to speak and share views on the way forward.

First Segment on Why Education- Uncle Ben and I Drives the conversation  on the security challenges of our schools, the possible causes and the effects on the learning process  - 15 Minutes 
Key Focus:
✓ What does security of schools/students mean then and now? Comparing the old and current state of schools with regards to adequate security.
✓  How did we get to this present stage of insecurity in schools?
✓ What are the key factors responsible for the heightened state of insecurity in our schools?
✓ What are the possible ways that this challenge can affect the learning process?
✓  Why are school children becoming more of the recent target?

Second Segment on getting it right: Jane drives a conversation on the   key pointers to a security compromise, the immediate/long term solution and the role of all involved in security our schools- 15 minutes 

Key Focus:
✓  How can we tell that there is a security compromise, eg, the key indicators?
✓ What could possibly result in the compromise or a porous security situation?
✓  Who are the key persons to hold accountable for the security of our children in the schools?
✓ Is ransom payment the best solution and what is the immediate or long term solution to end insecurity challenges in our schools?
✓ How the  stakeholders (Schools, Educators, Government, the Public, Security Personnel/Experts and Parents) can collaborate to ensure that our schools are well secured.
