"Gentlemen of the press, this morning I attended the National Economic Dialogue event with a theme 'Nigeria's Economic Future: 25 Years of Democracy and Beyond. While I commend the guest speakers on their valuable contributions and the efforts of the organizers, I wish to say that I was a bit disappointed with the organization in terms audio quality and presentation. For me this a critical and pivotal event in the history of our nation Nigeria and more of such is highly needed. As we reflect on 25 years of democracy, we find ourselves at a crossroads, grappling with the harsh realities of our current economic situation. The challenges we face today—rising inflation, economic hardship, and the eroding purchasing power of our people—demand urgent and decisive action.
